Rotating Globe with Light – Decorative Movement for Your Table
This white illuminated globe with automatic rotation is a modern decorative object for the living room, office, practice, home office or reception area. With a height of approximately 15 cm, it requires very little space and can be placed on a desk, sideboard, shelf or chest of drawers.
The automatic rotation is powered by a standard AA battery. The light uses a separate button-cell battery, which is included. The light is intended as decorative mood lighting and does not replace a reading or desk lamp.
Based on our own long-term experience, the globe can rotate continuously for approximately 1–3 months with a fresh AA battery. The actual operating time depends on the quality of the battery used.

Setup and Assembly

Carefully remove the globe and all components from the packaging.

Open the battery compartment for the rotation mechanism and insert a standard AA battery according to the indicated polarity.

Switch on the rotation function using the on/off switch. The light is powered separately by the included button-cell battery.

Align the two outer hemispheres so that the world map lines up correctly at the connecting edges.

Carefully join the two hemispheres until they are completely closed. Do not use force.

Carefully place the fully assembled globe on a flat tabletop using its permanently integrated black circular base.
As soon as the AA battery has been inserted and the rotation function switched on, the globe begins to rotate automatically. The black circular base is permanently attached to the globe and does not need to be assembled separately.
Cleaning and Safety
Clean the globe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning products or immerse the globe in water. Switch off the rotation function before replacing the battery.
Button-cell batteries must be kept out of the reach of children and pets. Swallowing a button-cell battery can cause serious injury and requires immediate medical attention.

How is the globe assembled?

No. The small black circular base is permanently attached to the globe. The assembled globe is placed directly on a flat tabletop using this base.
Does the globe rotate automatically?
Yes. Once the AA battery has been inserted, the rotation function switched on and the globe placed on a flat surface, it begins to rotate automatically.
What can I do if the globe does not rotate?
Check the polarity and charge level of the AA battery as well as the position of the on/off switch. Then check whether the two hemispheres have been assembled correctly and whether the globe can move freely. The button-cell battery powers only the light.
Can the globe be used as a lamp?
The light is intended as decorative mood lighting. It does not replace a reading lamp, night light or desk lamp.
Is the world map geographically up to date?
The globe is primarily intended as a moving decorative object. The map is not designed to serve as an up-to-date or accurately scaled geographical representation.
Can I view or reserve the globe?
A visit to our warehouse at Ebnatstrasse 65, 8200 Schaffhausen, is possible by appointment between 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The globe can be reserved free of charge for up to seven days. With a deposit, the item can be stored free of charge for up to three months.
What are the delivery, return and warranty conditions?
Delivery within Switzerland normally takes 1–3 working days. Shipping costs are shown at checkout. You receive a 14-day right of return, a 30-day exchange period and a five-year warranty.
