Where can I buy the shelf and can I view it in person?

You can order our teakwood shelving directly online in our shop or experience it in our showroom in Feuerthalen (Schützenstrasse 19, CH-8245 Zurich). There, you will find over 250 unique pieces to choose from, each with its own grain and story, open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Is the shelf available in the warehouse near me?

Yes – all shelving units are available for delivery from our central warehouse in Switzerland. We ship lighter packages (< 30 kg) via Swiss Post (3–5 business days), heavier packages via Planzer (next business day). Upon request, the shelving unit can also be picked up directly from our showroom.

How does shipping work and what kind of packaging is used?

We pack your shelving unit for transport on sturdy Euro pallets and protect it with special film and edge protectors. Swiss Post handles delivery for packages under 30 kg (3–5 days), while Planzer ensures next-business-day delivery for larger shipments. All packaging costs are included in the price.

What service and maintenance options are available?

We offer a 2-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. In our showroom, we provide free repairs and spare parts. If you pick up your order in person, you can also take advantage of our lifetime maintenance service: hand polishing and re-oiling of your shelving unit at no extra cost.

Can I have the shelf customized?

Of course – the length, width, height, and number of shelves can be customized to your specifications. Simply schedule an appointment in our showroom to discuss every detail personally with our wood specialists.

What type of wood is the shelf made of and where does it come from?

Our shelf consists of a 5 cm thick, unspliced slice of FSC-certified teak wood, naturally air-dried in Indonesia. Each slab bears the age and personality of its tree in vibrant annual rings and color variations.

Can I reserve the shelf?

Yes – we will hold your desired model free of charge for up to one week. With a deposit, the reservation is extended to up to three months, also without storage fees.

Is there a secondhand market or return policy for this shelf?

Since each tree slice is unique and its market value remains stable in the long term, we do not offer a standardized return policy. Many customers resell their shelves privately at the original price – a true investment piece.
